With unprecedented numbers of refugees and internally displaced persons putting huge stresses on humanitarian aid, new and innovative solutions are required to help mitigate the current unprecedented refugee crisis. This presentation will outline approaches that will assist host countries with refugees that can also provide significant opportunities for the private sector, and discuss how sustainable energy offers significant benefits to refugees – with a focus on Jordanian solar plants.
