Jeumont Electric has been exploring superconductivity applications for electrical rotating machines in partnership with the research organization, GREEN (Groupe de Recherche en Électrotechnique et Électronique de Nancy) with which it has set up a superconductor hub.
In May 2015, Jeumont Electric became one of the players in the Ecoswing superconductive generator project for offshore wind farms funded by the European Union.
